Adventure Travel in Naples, Florida

You can make your trip to Naples, Florida exciting by taking part in some of the activities and adventures available while you’re here. So let’s talk about some of them.

  • hiking and walking
  • exploring nature
  • fishing and boating
  • kayaking
  • stand up paddle boarding
  • learning to kitesurf

Let’s start with hiking and walking because they are the most basic. You are an intelligent person and you know that you have to be patient to walk because it is not the fastest means of transport that we are used to. But it can be the most satisfying because it’s actually a great form of exercise that allows you to experience new scenarios at a slower pace.

When walking is not a good option for you or someone in your family, you can always find bikes to rent. And you’ll be happy to know that this area is full of parks, miles of beach, and a handful of shopping malls to explore. However, if you’re like most people, you’ll end up renting a car while you’re here.

One place you’ll want to visit if you appreciate nature is the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Or you can go to one of the beautiful beaches and attractions in the area. Speaking of attractions, here are three places you should check out:

  • tin town
  • Clam Pass Beach
  • sudden park

Tin City is a must see while you are here. If you’ve been to Naples, you probably know what I’m talking about. It’s an old mall that sits right on the Bay of Naples, so you can watch the ships go by. The building has the “old Florida” look and feel that almost everyone appreciates.

If you head to Sugden Park on the right day of the week, you’ll find plenty of action there, including waterskiing, wakeboarding, and sailing. Best of all, they have boats, instructors, and the best learning gear so you can learn no matter your abilities!

Clam Pass is one of the beaches in the area that I think has the most to offer due to its natural boardwalk through the mangroves and kayak launch where you can paddle and explore for miles.

If you spend enough time on the beach in Naples, I’m sure you’ll notice the kiteboarders in the Gulf. And since you are an adventurer, you probably want to give it a try. If you fancy it, we have excellent instructors in town who can teach you the sport and get you up and running in a day. If not, you can try stand up paddle boarding or kayaking.
