A practical installation guide for True Flow input

Before I dive right into the quick and easy steps it takes to install the two True Flow intakes that are available for an under-the-hood performance boost, here’s some background on why I thought your brand was pretty strong. There are several to choose from these days, so I wanted to really know if I could trust and believe what it was throwing under the hood.

This is what I gathered from my own research. True Flow air intake systems are a unique departure from traditional air intake systems. The factory air box is left intact keeping the air flowing cooler while protecting the filter from dirt and moisture. The factory filter is replaced with one of True Flow’s lifetime high-flow foam filters. Finally, True Flow eliminates the factory air tubing, which can have restrictive mufflers or resonators, and replaces them with high-flow, powder-coated, mandrel-bent tubing and reinforced silicone couplers for maximum speed.

True Flow kits are easy to install and maintain, so I’m going to show you the easy 5-step process to do it. Each kit contains the necessary hardware for installation. No modifications are needed and all factory vents, sensors and hoses are left intact.

Here’s a fun fact you should know:

One of the reasons standard air intakes are so restrictive and oddly shaped is noise reduction. When you replace this with a high flow pipe your engine’s roar will increase slightly. The noise isn’t overwhelming and won’t drown out your conversations or music.

A performance air intake is not only one of the most essential upgrades for your vehicle, it’s also one of the easiest additions to install. With little more than a common socket set, a couple of screwdrivers, and half an hour, you can have your new air intake in place and ready to roar.

Detailed instructions are included with each intake kit. These instructions go through:

1. The simple process of removing your original intake system (including tube and air box)

2. Install the new air intake in just a few minutes in the original mounting positions.

3. No cutting, drilling, or other modifications are required.

4. What you do next with your limited stock consumption is up to you.
