Are you going to Disney World? Top 5 tips for discount tickets!

Can you really get cheap Disney World tickets? Well, if you know where and when to look, the answer is YES, according to Beth Hayworth, author of the best Disney savings guide on the web, in my opinion. This is an invaluable resource for anyone considering a Disney World Florida vacation with their family!

The problem, of course, is calculating how much everything will cost. It’s one thing to find a cheap flight to Orlando, or maybe even find a great deal on a vacation villa rental to save on your hotel bill, but what about all the little ‘extras’ that add up significantly and they can end up ruining your vacation, as well as ruining your budget if you’re not careful.

Most important is the question of how to get cheap tickets to Disney and the Magic Kingdom, as well as all the other big theme parks around, like Sea World and Busch Gardens, which, by the way, are worth visiting.

There is a lot of conflicting advice out there, and especially on the web. Some will tell you that there is no such thing as “cheap Disney tickets,” but the truth is that there are MANY ways to save off the regular prices advertised as official admission prices to Disney World and other parks so you can have a Disney World. Vacations for a fraction of what others pay!

Consider TWO families, both with EXACTLY THE SAME VACATION, but one family pays up to 50% LESS than the other family. Which family would you rather be? That’s a big savings!

The fact is, most families considering this trip of a lifetime will get carried away with the idea that they will normally do what everyone else does and book through their local travel agent without doing an ounce of research. Why would you do that these days when you have the internet at your fingertips?

Here are my top 5 tips for cheap Disney tickets:

1. Learn about the different types of tickets available!

There are many Disney ticket combinations! A good place to start is the official Walt Disney Resort website. This site lists all types of tickets and the benefits associated with them. It’s a good idea before you buy to sit down as a family and really think about how many days and how long during your stay you’ll be visiting the Magic Kingdom. Don’t be too ambitious, there are plenty of other attractions to go through, and you can always come back next year once you know how to get cheap Disney tickets!

2. Plan your trip well in advance of the date you want to go!

Like everything in life, if you plan it well and with time, it will be a success! Many people end up paying well above the odds for their Disney tickets because they have left too late to bargain! There are plenty of agents out there, as well as discount ticket incentive offers, just do a web search to get started. If you are smart, you can easily start playing against each other, negotiating the price more and more. This is especially true if they will also get a hotel reservation for the duration of their stay!

3. Be ‘on top’ of Disney ticket updates

They can be amazing and give you and your family an amazing Disney experience if that’s what you’re looking for, however they can also be a costly mistake if you don’t take full advantage of them during your stay. Make sure you know exactly what you’re getting with an upgrade and figure out how you can get the most out of the ticket you get BEFORE you get to Disney World!

4. Consider inspecting the property or timeshare

But just do this out of your own curiosity and you could receive deeply discounted deals to Disney and other nearby attractions, but this comes with a WARNING! Only do this if you are genuinely interested or curious and willing enough to reject any hard-core sales pitch. It’s also a good idea to have someone watch the kids for a morning or even the day so they don’t get bored and feel like they’ve wasted a day!

5. Know precisely who to buy your tickets from in the end!

There are literally thousands of agents supposedly offering ‘Cheap Disney Tickets’, some are clueless while others are experts! You need to know who is who, so again, the key to this is research!

You can of course do this research yourself; like me, but be careful, it takes time to collect quality information! I have been researching this for over 6 months to get all the juicy information you really want to know!

If you prefer direct access to high-quality ‘insider’ information, you should get Beth Hayworth’s Disney Savings eBook (see link below). There is a wealth of knowledge and “prior experience” you can tap into with the right “insider” information, if you know where to look.
