Lastly, the Buddhist Funeral Package can include embalming. Embalming is usually performed by either a licensed embalmers or by the family members who do the final preparation and burial. Again, this is an additional charge. If your loved one did not have a choice as to where they died or the manner of death, it may be prudent to opt for the more traditional methods of embalming, though you should always ensure that your loved one’s embalming is done in accordance with all local embalming laws.
