Experience the great features of the Samsung Galaxy S2

It is a well known fact that the Samsung Galaxy S is often considered as one of the best smartphones of the current generation. However, the launch of several new phones in the last couple of months has seen the Samsung Galaxy S slightly overshadowed. So, in an effort to once again improve the high-end smartphone segment that Samsung operates in, Samsung has decided to launch the Samsung Galaxy S2, the replacement for the current Galaxy S. A replacement for the phone that is considered to be the best It should be very feature rich.

The Samsung Galaxy S2 was rumored to be launched at MWC 2011, although details of the phone were not revealed. However, now the details have been released and you can now take a look at the monstrous features under the new Samsung phone. This phone will have a 4.3 or 4.5-inch screen. The final decision will be based on the results of the tests that Samsung has carried out with both screens. The HTC Desire HD has the largest screen currently and if the Samsung Galaxy S2 uses a 4.5-inch screen, it would top it. It’s expected to use the same Super AMOLED display that powers the current screen, regardless of screen size.

Samsung recently lost ground to the Nokia N8 as the best camera phone of all time, but it aims to regain it once again by launching this new phone with an 8-megapixel camera. This camera will come with many features that will be taken from the wide range of digital cameras in the Samsung line. It will have LED flash to help in night photography. Other features that can be expected from this camera include auto focus, touch focus, face and smile detection.

The RAM is also expected to be significantly higher than the RAM found in the Samsung Galaxy S at nearly 1GB. There is also Full HD 1080p recording capability that will be built into the camera. The phone’s secondary camera isn’t exactly revolutionary and will be the same 1.3-megapixel unit seen on most high-end smartphones. The phone will have support for 32GB memory cards, although the phone’s current internal memory levels are unknown. The phone is expected to be announced at MWC, which takes place in a few weeks in Barcelona.

The camera is expected to be powered by a 1500mAh battery which remains unchanged in the Samsung Galaxy S configuration. This battery will power the 1GHZ dual-core unit, although there are rumors that there could be a 1.2GHZ unit as well. The processor is more than adequate considering that the phone will run Android version 2.3, which is also known as the Gingerbread operating system.
