How to be happy – Where is happiness?

This question could be understood in at least 2 ways. In what feats/actions does happiness lie? Where geographically speaking could you find happiness?

At least one of the definitions of happiness is: A state of Well-being. Well, that probably means that in order to be happy, we need to do things that make us feel good. Unfortunately, that notion of ‘good’ or ‘bad’ is very relative. Each person has their own way of considering what is good or not. That means there are no magic steps that work for everyone in exactly the same way.

On the other hand, thanks or thanks to our society, we still share a commonly accepted set of rules about morality. That also means that, in most cases, doing nice things for yourself will also be considered by most people. That helps a lot! Why do you ask? Simply because happiness is not only about you, it is also about others! What if you did everything that you feel is good and any of those things that the people around you would feel are just awful? Your behavior is modified by the behavior of the people around you. Because they would feel bad for your actions, they would feel bad for you!

And finally you would also feel bad about yourself even though you were doing everything you could to help! There is a very strong cultural background that people need to share before they feel like they can be happy together. If they don’t necessarily agree with those practices, as long as they understand and respect them, you should be fine. As I mentioned earlier, there is still a common ground of morality that will help you to be accepted by that new community.

The second aspect of the question was about the geographic location where happiness might be easier to achieve.

If we go back to the definition of happiness, the well-being state, we can see that another factor of well-being is feeling good where you live. Let’s say you come home from work. But is it a very small dirty rat hole with no window in the 10 walk up? Would you feel very good in a place like this? Actually you could. Either decorating well, or planning our dream house and fantasizing about it, or using any other trick. You’re kidding yourself into thinking you’re okay here.

Let’s expand that. Now you live in a normal place, not so bad and not so good. But you live in a very deserted area of ​​the city. Add to that the fact that you might be on your own. That could be really depressing! No one can get the best place to live. You have to make a decision about what your priorities are and live with no regrets. Being consistent with yourself is a good start to reach the state of well-being. You know yourself, you know what you like and you know where you want to go.

There are no magical actions or magical places to find happiness, under a rock or in the biggest apartment in town. Live by the rules of your community that should put you on good terms with most people. Be realistic in the present where you can live and plan your dreams for the future. That motivation will keep you away from depression.
