Jordan Retro 14 Basketball Shoes

Another gray shoe has just dropped into the sneaker world. Wait, let me put it another way. The Jordan Retro 14 in a “Light Graphite” colourway has just released to rave reviews in the sneaker community. Well, that sounds a lot better. And much more precise. This is not just another gray shoe. This is the legendary shoe that Michael Jordan wore in the last game he played in an NBA Finals. A game in which he dropped the game-winning shot on the Utah Jazz’s Byron Russell to earn himself and the Chicago Bulls a sixth Finals championship ring. Of course, the colorway of this shoe that he was wearing at the time was a black/red edition. That colorway of the Jordan 14 will be released later this year. For now, we have the beautiful “Light Graphite” 14 for cop.

This new shoe features a Light Graphite nubuck upper with contrasting black stitching. In addition, a side panel perforation is used on the upper part of the shoe. The tongue and midsole use Black. Additionally, Black is also used on the midsole cleats, a unique design that makes the Jordan 14 a truly epic shoe. Midnight Navy is used throughout the shoe as accents. The laces and sole of the shoe are done in a clean white and finish off the shoe perfectly. This shoe is more than a worthy addition to the Jordan Retro shoe line. It just dropped and there are plenty of pairs available as Jordan Brand has made it a general release.

This new Jordan 14 has been highly anticipated by the sneaker community. It is the first of several 14 to be released this holiday season. This is a historic shoe, if not an epic one. It was the last pair of Air Jordans worn by Michael before announcing his retirement from the NBA on January 13, 1999. He announced his retirement from the NBA for the second time and what was supposed to be the last time. An NBA lockout began a few weeks after MJ won his sixth and final championship and most fans and players speculate that Jordan simply didn’t want to deal with NBA politics anymore.

Designed by legendary shoe designer Tinker Hatfield, who was inspired by Michael Jordan’s Ferrari 550M to develop the shoe, the Air Jordan 14 will be released more than once in the coming months. This color combination, however, is particularly impressive. Many basketball shoes in various shades of gray have been released recently, but this one will definitely not be lost in the crowd of gray colored shoes.

The Jordan 14 is one of the most epic and historically significant pairs of Jordan shoes for basketball. Regardless of what color the shoe is placed in, it is one epic shoe and a must have for all sneaker lovers.
