Music reminder or alarm clock

Surprisingly, users do not use a very useful feature of Windows, it is the Windows Task Scheduler. Helps launch programs or perform routine tasks, such as backups, at scheduled times. I have a quick and easy way to find out, setting it to play a melody, so that you can use it as an alarm clock, to wake you up in the morning, or to remind you to do something at a certain time. So to do this, open Windows Explorer and navigate to the folder you use to store your MP3 or music files, then open Task Scheduler by going to Start> Programs> Accessories> System Tools.

It can now be done easily by dragging and dropping your chosen MP3 or music file into the Task Scheduler window. Right click on the music file icon, select Properties, then Schedule tab and set your times and dates, click OK and you’re done. Note that if you have not set a user password for Windows it will not work (it is a security feature) so if you want to use Task Scheduler you will have to set one as you cannot leave the password field in white. .

This is one of the best features that I liked about the XP operating system. Many users overlook this small but very significant feature of Windows. Trust me, it’s a great feature. Perhaps, there are many features in Windows that users are not aware of. I hope my article helps the readers.
