Raising women

“I am like a tree planted by streams of water; … that gives its FRUIT in its time …”

I tried so hard not to make this article look like a Sunday morning sermon dedicated to wedding anniversaries in an Orthodox church. But some relevant scriptures that I referred to in this piece indicate how even the world is gradually realizing that the Holy Book is full of situations, stories, events, actions and reactions that stand as metaphors, allegories and parables for that we live, from one generation to another, as we decipher them.

“And the Lord God planted a garden to the east in Eden, and there he put the man whom he had formed …” (Gen 2: 8-9a)

“And the Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and keep it.” (Genesis 2:15)

God is the planter; who planted humanity on the face of the earth, his Only Begotten Son in the world to redeem it from the fall, and still plants His Word in our spirits (through the Holy Spirit who guides us to the understanding of the Word) until ours Souls are renewed and our bodies transformed: like yeast (seed), which a woman (God) took and hid in three measures of flour (man’s spirit, soul and body), until everything was leavened. (Luke 13:21)

Centuries throughout the centuries, agriculture remains peculiar to the Masculine Man especially. In ancient times, most of the men in the villages were farmers, although their wives and daughters helped harvest and bring to market to sell. Men understand very well the language of the earth; perhaps because they were made directly from him, whereas the women were made from his ribs. Agriculture is the occupation that sustains our lives by putting food on our tables to fill our stomachs and produce on the shelves to fill our pockets. A universal activity that has made us think of great basic life lessons, like whatever you sow, you will reap. The act of cultivating is an art of life; a parable for humanity to live. One thing that I find exciting is its synonym which is HUSBAND; a word that has its root from the word HUSBAND. Which implies that every husband is a farmer; And the moment you meet a woman you love and want to be with forever, the process begins. From cleaning, plowing, furrowing, planting, weeding, etc. a series of processes that is determined by the nature of the soil and the type of crop that will be grown in it in a particular season.

Breeding *, the act of marrying a woman (in this context), is a great unique skill that does not depend solely on how much money a man has. It is an agriculture that requires skill of time, patience and a lot of strategic thinking. It is a skill for the dedicated and hardworking.

“Therefore the LORD God sent him (Adam) out of the Garden of Eden, to till the land from which he was taken.” (Genesis 3:23)

To be ‘husband’ is to cultivate; cultivate, till, cultivate and take care of the garden that God has given you. Your wife is a garden; your own garden of Eden planted by God and given to you to cultivate and care for. Woman is the soil in which a man sows his seeds. How fertile you are, of course, depends on your journey through life; your background, character values, belief system, and the things you have learned from the moment you become aware of your femininity. A woman is fertile when she is mature. Apart from natural fertility, the application of fertilizers to increase productivity is the sole responsibility of the farmer. Everything is in your power and everything is for your benefit anyway. “Thus should farmers (men) love their gardens (wives) as their own bodies. He who loves his garden (wife) loves himself. For no farmer (man) has ever hated his own flesh, but the nourishes and cares for it, even as the Lord does the church: … “(Ephesians 5: 28-29). What a man sows in his wife is what he reaps; not to the same extent, but in the hundreds and thousands. Women – Our multipliers! Whatever you give her, she will make it bigger. They turn our sperm seeds into babies, our houses into homes, groceries into food, and smiles into laughter.

Expect! Don’t raise an eyebrow yet. Want to know why some women take everything away from their men and still throw it in their faces? Here is the answer.

Do you remember when the sower went out to sow,

  • SomeHe fell by the road and the birds of the sky came and devoured him (bad company, bad influence, bad communication that corrupts good behavior),
  • SomeIt fell on rocky ground, where it did not have much soil and immediately it sprouted because it had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose, it burned; and since it had no root, it withered (superficial women, who wasted their youth testing the waters instead of using it to learn, build their life, develop and be prepared for what the future holds),
  • Somefell among thorns, and the thorns grew, and drowned him, and did not bear fruit (so many issues to deal with, family problems, rudeness, bitterness from past experiences / relationships)
  • and others fell on good ground and bore fruit that sprouted and grew and yielded, about thirty, about sixty, and about one hundred. A good woman, when she receives the seed of her man, is capable of increasing it in abundance above all that he can ask or think, according to the POWER that works in her (Ephesians 3:20). This power is not obtained by exercising in the gym, but it is God who gives you the power to multiply the seed that is invested in it (Deuteronomy 8: 18a). The extent of this power depends on how well she has developed, equipped, and worked on herself in the days of her youth.

God has designed marriage in such a way that the benefits derived from it by one party depend on the other. Women are probably going to nail me for this, but honestly, some things can never find expression in your life as a woman until there is a man to till your land; remember it the LORD God did not make it rain on the land and there was no man to till the land. ” (Genesis 2: 5). Even the Holy Spirit had to come upon the Virgin Mary and the power of the Most High covered her before she could conceive the Savior. For each seed: biological, financial, emotional, physical, psychological, spiritual, men are the giver and you are the receiver. We are the carrier and you are the nutrient and the multiplier. Without us, you have little or nothing to work on and without you, our seeds remain as seeds. What good is a seed when it cannot become a plant?

Have you ever imagined what the ground goes through to resist the forces of nature? However, forces cannot be dispensed with, if the earth wants to produce its increase; the scorching sun almost every afternoon, the torrential rain that sometimes turns into a flood, the swift wind blowing over it. Like a woman’s monthly menstrual pain, a 9-month bulging belly multiplied by the number of children she has, the pain when giving birth, the compulsion to breastfeed, the pain of some contraceptive methods, etc. Women are strong; naturally gifted to withstand many forces. They can deal with stress and carry heavy loads.

A good farmer must understand the best season to plant a particular crop and understand the language of the soil. A farmer must protect; Diligently keep an eye on your farm at all times to keep intruders out and weed regularly so that the tree does not grow with the wheat.

Most important of all, the apostle Paul compares the love expected of a husband for his wife, a farmer for his garden, with that of Christ for the church (Ephesians 5: 25-27). This simple but exceptional scripture implies that a husband mustsurrender “for” his wife; to sanctify and purify her in the washing of the water by the word, to present her to himself as a glorious wife, without spot, or wrinkle, or anything like that; but may it be holy and without blemish. Every good farmer has a responsibility to watering itsyard with the “pure water ” of the Word of God. You must pray for Rain. Without which the earth cannot bear its fruit. As much as you water your soil, it is never enough. You need God’s rain; it is a blessing for the garden and for its owner. The number of times you sleep with your wife does not guarantee that you will get pregnant. God has to rain on your seed within it. And finally, you should no longer eat of your land with pain and sweat on your face and should not bring you thorns and thistles (Genesis 3: 17-19), the curse has been undone; The Blood that flowed from the head of Jesus when they put the crown of thorns has taken care of that. He was cursed for us’ and like that; every curse on us as a result of the fall has been erased.

Let me remind you of this conversation between Neytiri Y Jake sally, in the movie titled “Avatar“by James Cameroon in 2009,

Neytiri: Become “taronyu“hunter, you must choose yours Ikran and he must choose you. (NB: Ikran is the flying creature)

Jake sally: When?

Neytiri: When you are ready.

[… then she (Neytiri) makes a whooping sound as she flies off her own Ikran].

To become a farmer, each man must choose his own garden and his garden must choose him. When? When you’re ready. How? Praying to God and opening your eyes. There really are no rules for finding the right mister or miss, but basically, you must (1) BELIEVE that there are still some good ones left and even if there is only one left, he / she will be yours. (2) BE who you want to have; you can’t be wayward and want a decent girl or vice versa. We have the power to attract the type of person we are. (3) PRAY: God is the giver of good gifts.A MAN CAN RECEIVE ANYTHING, EXCEPT THAT BE GIVEN HIM FROM HEAVEN (John 3:27) and (4) LOOK: Love is not blind; we just choose not to see. Unlike salvation, in love we walk by faith and also by sight.

Each man to his own garden. You have yours, I have mine. So don’t even try to get close to mine … or I could have the heavenly police arrest you; the cherubs that God has placed east of me Eden’s garden, and a fiery sword that spins in every direction, to keep the path of the tree of Life (Genesis 3:24) in your heart, where the issues of life come from.

Remember that, when Jake sally in fact i was ready like Neytiri he said, his Ikran She recognized him and chose him by facing him while everyone else flew by while he scared them. The first contact may not be easy / cheap, but somehow the subsequent ones will test and reveal the connection, that undeniable chemistry between the two of you, and that is if it is meant to be there. Another memorable conversation in this same movie was:

Neytiri: You are Omaticaya now. You can make your bow with Hometree wood. And you can choose a woman. We have many beautiful women. Ninat is the best singer.

Jake sally: I do not want Ninat.

Neytiri: Peyral he is a good hunter.

Jake sally: Yes, she is a good hunter. But I have already chosen. But this woman must also choose me.

Neytiri: [Smiles] She already has.

[They kiss]
