Yosemite national park
Yosemite has always been a popular attraction, but it has gained even more popularity recently when two climbers made the first free ascent of El Capitan’s Dawn Wall, considered the most challenging rock face in the world. The park will celebrate its 125th anniversary in October, so many special events have been planned for the occasion. This includes a free commemorative exhibit that details maps, artwork, and other historical documents from the 19th century.
Grand Canyon National Park
No motorhome trip is complete without a stop at the Grand Canyon. The massive canyon is 5,200 feet deep, with the majestic Colorado River running through 277 scenic miles. There are tons of hikes to do and amazing sites to see, but camping nearby gives you time to see the canyon up close. Get up close to one of the seven natural wonders of the world by taking part in a hike to the bottom of the canyon or a whitewater rafting experience. Glacier National Park
If there is a park you should visit soon, it is Glacier, as there are only 25 of its original 150 glaciers left that existed in 1850. You can go hiking, but there are also boat tours that give you a fantastic tour of all the natural beauty of the park. You can even rent canoes, kayaks, and rowboats to tour on your own.
