This one is really hard to call. It’s hard for me to predict that the Packers will beat anyone this year after they looked so bad against the Bengals of all teams. But on the other hand, the Rams have also looked really bad. They can’t score and have lost their first two games.

The first of which is that the Rams are horrible. They’re just a bad team overall. They don’t have 1/10 the firepower they used to when they were the “biggest show on the turf”. Their best player is Stephen Jackson and I think the Packers’ defense will be up to the challenge of stopping him this Sunday.

I hope the rebound factor is in effect after letting Cedric Benson tear us apart last week. I think the run defense is capable of this. And I’m still waiting to see BJ Raji in action. The injury report lists him as questionable, though it also says he fully participated in practice.

I don’t know what’s the point of him fully participating in practice and not even dressing for the game. Which has been the case in the first two weeks. Regardless, I can’t wait for his monumental talent to show up on the field and start getting some NFL experience.

Also, the Rams have a pathetic pass rush. They were only able to get one sack in the first two games. Now, this may well be his chance to open the floodgates and get to Rodgers 5 or 6 times. Or it could be the Packers’ turn to finally show average (instead of horrible) blocking.

So what is my prediction for the Packers vs. ram game? The Packers will beat the Rams 20-17. The Rams will triple their sack total for the season and hit Aaron Rodgers 3 times. The Packers will have very moderate success because of their pathetic blocking and will only win the game because of defense play. Charles Woodson and company will have another good game and make enough plays for the Packers to come out on top. Barely goal.
