Why your computer’s registry is like the cabinets in your supermarket

Really. There he was sitting right in front of the computer thinking “Wow, I really need to order my record.” I know what you are thinking, geek, right? Well, you’re actually right! I know that the record on my computer is important. I know it needs to be kept clean, orderly, and mostly free from unauthorized entry. Now for most of you, geeks or not, you know that keeping your computer in some sort of order is like keeping all the groceries in your cupboards in order. A strange analogy, right? Wrong!

Think of it this way; If food is facing the right way, has labels on it, isn’t expired, and is within easy reach, you’ll be able to work in the kitchen in a more orderly manner. Being able to work more efficiently. Well, making sure your registry stays in order is pretty much the same thing, just not as tasty.

SO HAVING FUN. There I was sitting in front of my computer and just couldn’t be bothered to hit the scan option on my registry scanner. Why? I don’t know. Pure laziness is the only answer. I’ve been using the scanner for years and only this time I didn’t hit the scan option, with auto scan also disabled, I learned my lesson.

Do you know when you install something of the wonderful WWW and ask you if you would also like to install a wonderful search device? I always click on the ‘No’ option. But this time I didn’t, I completely messed up my computer’s registry. The computer began to work slowly. He began to punish me for my incompetence. Seriously, I had no choice but to reinstall Windows since I couldn’t even access my scan software. Trust me, I’m pretty handy with computers, but this time I couldn’t even solve the problem.

Don’t get me wrong, luckily he hadn’t lost much work, but he almost failed. All for the sake of scanning the registry on a regular basis.

The good news is that now my computers work fine, I don’t have a headache or my pride. Lo principal que hice fue configurar el escaneo automático y el escaneo programado. Sometimes you don’t even know what’s lurking on your computer and the registry is an important part of your computer’s well-being. So please. You are as lazy as me. Most of the software out there is even free, so there’s really no excuse now, right?
