3 +1 tips that some article writers should know to improve their click-through rate

Tired of writing article after article trying to increase traffic to your website or blog? Especially when you know that some writers write half as much as you and get twice the traffic.

What are they doing differently? Maybe not as much as you think.

The following 3 tips can help you improve your click-through rate and ultimately increase traffic to your website or blog.

1. Get to the point: When a person decides to read your article, they are specifically looking for the information that you described or promised in your title.

Don’t make them read a ton of “filler content” to get to the meat and potatoes of what your title has promised them, by doing this they may decide to drop your article before reaching your resource box.

2. Be brief: Most people will only read an article for a few minutes before becoming bored with it or being distracted by something else going on around them.

By being brief, this also refers to tip number one, as there will be a better chance of them being read to the end of your resource box.

3. Do not use “Click here” in the resource box: Many writers still do, but by using “Click Here” instead of keyword anchor text, you’re missing out on excellent SEO.

If the main keyword for your website is “Article Writing Software”, replace “Click Here” with that as this will help increase your website’s ranking in search engines.

Fourth free tip:

4. It is also a good idea to include a call to action: near the end of the body text and just before the resource box, but only after fulfilling the promises made by the title.

This is to help reassure the reader that they will really need to click on the resource box before even reading the whole body.

Well I’m sure these 3 +1 tips will help you increase your click-through rate if you’re not implementing them yet and I hope these tips have been helpful to you, but to take advantage of these tips and more, check out the resource. chart below for even more information.
