The PSP 3 is a bulky device. It weighs 5 kg, almost like five and a half PlayStation 2. The look is also quite impressive. It comes with a black casing and silver highlights. A lot of powerful technology has also been packed into the device. It comes with a Blu-ray drive and support for 1080p high definition (HD) video, the feature that promises the best picture quality.

The device is available in two different versions and both versions are a delight for gamers. There is also a trick involved. The 60GB hard drive is ideal for multimedia functions such as storing photos for slide shows, storing music files, and storing downloadable content such as movies, demos, and trailers. Furthermore, the internal hard drive can be upgraded and it is also possible to play and store media on external USB controllers.

The Sony PlayStation 3 includes controls that are wireless and feature motion detection technology. Perhaps the biggest advantage of the device is its Blu-ray disc drive that will play the new generation of high definition movies (via the HDMI output). Perhaps this also shows why the phone is so expensive compared to the others on the market.

There are also some limitations. The PSP 3 cannot upgrade DVD movies to higher definition formats, and it cannot stream music or movies from a computer.

The graphics on this device are impressive and it is also backward compatible with virtually all PS1 and PS2 games.
